Featurette: RAQIB SHAW

Opulant. indulgent, ornate, somewhat debauched and betraying his Kashmiri roots, Raqib Shaw's works are like tide pools left behind from the dreams of the night before.

DANIEL RICHTER

Daniel Richter's dense paintings with mysterious figures often among a chaotic mesh of elements that wonderously pull together are surprisingly potent, cohesive and beautiful.

He studied under Werner Büttner in Hamburg at the Hochschule für bildenden Künste and has exhibited internationally. David Richter is represented by CFA Berlin and David Zwirner New York.
