Mamoru Tsukada has some intriguing work in his portfolio. From Tokyo Art Beat: "Mamoru Tsukada was born in Nagano prefecture in 1962. After studying photography in the U.S, he is currently based in Tokyo. He started his career as a photographer taking pictures of blind people. Blind people build their visual experience through their other senses and the image they create in their brain differs from our reality. Tsukada gets his artistic inspiration from working with them. He explores how an image functions, by making photographs that deviate from reality to arouse the unconsciousness."
